If you really insist that your site is Flash-based and you want search engines to love it, provide an html version. Here are some more tips for optimizing Flash sites. Search engines don't like Flash sites for a reason – a spider can't read Flash content and therefore can't index it.

Flash soon (or already) SEO friendly?

Over the past few years it has been recommended to stay clear of flash, solely for SEO reasons. The problem is that the content in the .swf files was not ‘readable’ by the search engines, so in advance it was very hard to get indexed on the first page for certain niche’s (with the exception of major sites like McDonalds, or movie sites, as they have many many back links.)

Google learns Flash

I love Flash, I really do.
But as primarily a SEO firm, we’ve been steering clients away from flash based websites for years due to the fact that Google, Yahoo!, and MSN couldn’t index their content. By content, I mean written text, images, and of course links among other website elements.
It appears the Game is Changing Once Again
Google announced that it has made vast improvements in crawling and indexing flash based content from menus to entire sites:
“In the past, web designers faced challenges if they chose to develop a site in Flash because the content they included was not indexable by search engines. They needed to make extra effort to ensure that their content was also presented in another way that search engines could find.”
